Job Purpose

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus.
Teach key topics, including numbers, algebra, geometry, mensuration, statistics, probability, and graphs.
Develop students’ mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Prepare lesson materials, exercises, assignments, revision activities, and examination practice.
Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their understanding and performance.
Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics examinations and develop effective examination techniques.
Identify students’ learning needs and adapt teaching methods to support different abilities.
Use appropriate teaching resources and technology to make Mathematics lessons engaging and effective.
Maintain a positive, organised, and supportive classroom environment.
